OUR STORY

Since 2000 bees have had a home at Dyke End. What began as small rescue swarm which had landed locally generated excitement and intrigued the household into learning about the nature of our new friends.
20 years on and our country small holding methods continue to support a number of hives as we strive to practice sustainable beekeeping.
Our beekeeping methods aim to maintain a sustainable relationship between the bees and the local environment.
- Local air is clean and has very low levels of contamination
- Flower-rich environment achieved by maintaining luscious environment, although bees will travel miles for pollen, the immediate environment is also important to consider in achiving a wonderful concoction of tastes throughout the seasons.
